Leadership is Coaching
Leadership is one of the most important qualities that a person can possess. It allows you to inspire and motivate others to achieve their goals, while also helping you to achieve your own. But what is true leadership? In o our opinion, leadership is coaching. It’s about helping others to grow and develop and guiding them along the way. And the best part is that anyone can learn to be a great coach and leader, as long as they are always duplicatable.
At Balanced Action Marketing Firm, the first step in becoming a great coach and leader is to understand that you are not doing this for yourself. You are doing it for your team or group. Your role is to help them achieve their goals and to empower them to take control of their own success. This means being approachable, open-minded, and willing to listen to their ideas and concerns. It’s also important to lead by example, showing your team how to behave and work together effectively.
Another key aspect of leadership as coaching is being able to provide constructive feedback. It’s not enough to simply tell someone what they’re doing wrong; you need to provide them with specific guidance on how they can improve. This means being honest but also kind and focusing on solutions rather than just pointing out problems. By doing this, you’ll help your team members to develop their skills and confidence, and they’ll feel empowered to take ownership of their own success.
Of course, being a great coach and leader also means being able to set clear goals and expectations. You need to be able to articulate your vision for the team or group and outline the steps that need to be taken in order to achieve those goals. This means being organized, focused, and having a strong sense of purpose. By setting clear goals and expectations, you’ll help your team members to stay motivated and on track, and they’ll be more likely to achieve success.
Finally, it’s important to always be duplicatable. This means that you need to be able to teach others how to be great coaches and leaders themselves. By sharing your knowledge and experience, you’ll help your team members to develop their own skills and confidence, and they’ll be better equipped to achieve their own goals. So don’t be afraid to delegate tasks, share responsibilities, and empower others to take ownership of their own success. By doing so, you’ll create a culture of coaching and leadership that will benefit everyone involved.
Here at Balanced Action Marketing Firm, we believe that leadership is coaching. It’s about helping others to grow and develop and guiding them along the way. By being approachable, open-minded, and willing to listen to your team members, providing constructive feedback, setting clear goals and expectations, and always being duplicatable, you can become a great coach and leader yourself.
Although, leadership is not just about leading a team. It’s about coaching your team to success. As a leader, your job is not just to delegate tasks, but to empower your team members to become leaders themselves. This is where the concept of “always be duplicatable” comes in. As a leader, it’s important to not only model the behavior you want to see in your team, but also to teach and train them to do the same. Coaching your team members is about more than just telling them what to do. It’s about helping them develop the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their roles. This means taking the time to understand their strengths and weaknesses, and providing guidance and support as they work to improve. A great coach doesn’t just bark orders, but instead works collaboratively with their team members to help them reach their full potential.
To be an effective coach, you must lead by example. This means embodying the values and behaviors you expect from your team members. It also means being open and transparent with your communication, being receptive to feedback, and constantly striving to improve yourself. When you model the behavior, you want to see in others, you create a culture of excellence that is contagious.
The concept of “always be duplicatable” is essential for building a strong, high-performing team. When you coach your team members effectively, you don’t just create followers – you create leaders. By empowering your team members with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed, you are setting them up for long-term success. And when they become leaders themselves, they will be able to pass on the same lessons that you taught them.
Balanced Action Marketing firm believes that it is about guiding and coaching people to achieve their full potential and as a leader in our industry, our job is to help our team members grow, develop their skills, and become better versions of themselves. This is important because it ensures that our coaching efforts have a more significant impact and that the benefits ripple throughout the organization.

- Stay educated
Read books, take classes and seminars. Hone in on your skills, and learn a new skill if you want to advance in anything you do. Education will provide you with a strong edge!
- Review your goals daily
The only way to achieve your goals is to constantly look at them and visualize yourself achieving them, and do the work required to reach them. You should be looking at them daily, allowing yourself to figure out HOW you can reach them, then you will always get what you are looking for. In other words, regularly writing down your goals and keeping track of your progress improves your productivity, which is a key ingredient for goal success. If you, do it daily the effect is even stronger and you will be able to make the adjustments necessary along the way. Don’t wait to make the changes, looking at this daily will help with adjustments, networking and overall, you’ll see yourself become very strong!
- Take a risk
What can you do each day to stretch yourself? How do you become the best version of yourself? What are you afraid of? What’s holding you back? What are your limitations? Do something each day that moves you out of your comfort zone.
“When figuring out your goals and what steps you need to take to achieve big goals you have to have your “why”, your purpose for wanting these goals. Once you have your why, your reason to succeed is clear and you can then set a plan to get there! Take the step forward, don’t be complacent.” said Rose, Balance Action Marketing Firm, Hiring Manager.
To grow your skill set you will need to identify where your weaknesses are and how to improve. Here at Balanced Action Marketing Firm, we provide everyone with a mentor to be able to coach and train someone in every area of our business. We want everyone to succeed, but ultimately, they need to put in the work and self-evaluation on their end.
Being able to get feedback and direction allows people to grow so much quicker, and you need to reflect. Reflect on what your strengths are and what your interests are. You’ll be one step closer to finding it. It will not be an easy process to find it, but it will be worth it. Find your edge!

Change Your Mindset
Balanced Action Marketing Firm wants you and their whole team to succeed this year. But you’ll need to put in the work and we will help you get there.
The first step to start to push for success is to train your mindset. Training your mind for success is an important step to achieving your goals. While it may not be easy, with the right mindset and a few key strategies, you can reprogram your mind to focus on success. Start by developing positive affirmations. Each day, focus on repeating positive statements to yourself that will help you to remain focused on your goals and create a positive attitude. Additionally, visualizing success can be a powerful tool in training your mind for success. Take a few moments each day to visualize yourself achieving your goals, and see yourself in a positive light. Finally, try to remain mindful. Pay attention to what you are thinking and be aware of any negative or self-defeating thoughts, and then consciously replace them with positive thoughts. With a little practice and dedication, you can use these tools to train your mind and achieve success.
“The mindset that helps me be successful is very basic. Work harder than everyone else in the room or team. I heard this line from the Rock and it makes total sense. Put in more effort and you get more return. This works with financial investments, working out in the gym or running our business and direct marketing. Easy path to create and follow!” -Brian Holt, CEO, Balanced Action Marketing Firm
It can be difficult to change your mindset, but it is possible. Start by recognizing what thoughts and beliefs you currently have that are holding you back. Then, focus on replacing them with more positive, productive ones. Identify what kind of mindset you want to have, and then take small steps every day to get closer to that goal. Talk to people who have the mindset you want to emulate, read inspiring books and articles, and practice positive self-talk. With dedication and patience, you can create a new and improved mindset.
But what is one thing that stops so many people from changing their mindset and going after their goals to achieve that success? Fear, fear is a natural emotion, and it’s okay to feel it when trying to be successful. The most important thing is to acknowledge this fear and move forward despite it. Take small steps and focus on the goals you want to achieve. Remind yourself of how capable you are and that you can achieve anything you set your mind to. Remember to take deep breaths and remind yourself that it’s okay to feel scared. With the right attitude and determination, you can overcome any fear and be successful.
“Fear causes that person to stop and second guess themselves and let that opportunity pass them by. In this business we work with coaches and managers that have been in the same spot and know you need to make that jump but if you pause and doubt yourself it’s hard to keep up with the team and your own momentum. Trust the team and jump!” -Brian Holt, CEO, Balanced Action Marketing Firm
If you put in the effort, you will be rewarded with success. Taking the time and investing energy into a task can help you reach your goals and achieve the results you desire. Believe in yourself and your abilities and stay focused on your objectives. With dedication and hard work, you can make great progress!
Having a positive mindset is key to achieving success in life. It’s important to stay focused on your goals and have a growth mindset, which is the belief that you can improve your skills and
abilities with effort and dedication. By believing in yourself and having a positive outlook, you can create a pathway to success.
“Mindset to me means, I wake up and know what I need to do and how. Focused on the day and business and not letting anything get in my way. It’s supposed to be hard otherwise everyone would be running a business but here at Balanced Action Marketing Firm we teach how to be focused and get the results to push past the rest of the employee mindset world and really take control of our future.” -Brian Holt, CEO, Balanced Action Marketing Firm
Training your mind is an important part of personal growth and development. To do this, start by focusing on positive affirmations and self-talk. Positive affirmations can help to instill a sense of self-confidence and increase your motivation. Additionally, set aside time each day to practice mindful activities like meditating, journaling, and walking. These activities can help to reduce stress and boost your overall mental wellbeing. Finally, make sure you’re taking care of your physical health as well, as this can have a positive effect on your mental health.

The most exciting part is the unknown for me [Brian]. Sounds kind of crazy but over the recent year’s business has been complicated with ups and downs for everyone. I can’t set a certain goal on what to strive for since it might change or some other client or opportunity come along. But I can focus on the standards for myself and the team to be ready for anything that comes our way. Leadership: Action or Position?
What type of leader do you want to be?
You don’t need a title or position to be a leader. People that lead without a position are encouragers and connectors meaning, they help others succeed. A leader’s responsibility is to develop people to achieve desired outcomes. This means developing people is always a work in progress. Action is the key to success in many things in life, leadership being one of them, action produces results. So how do you take action and become a strong leader?
Lead by example
To lead by example means to guide others through your behavior instead of your words.
- Inspire others to push themselves.
- Don’t say one thing and do another, your actions need to mirror what you say.
- Your attitude towards others will help you set a strong foundation. Address conflict calmly and productively making sure to diffuse the situation while finding a solution.
- Communicate kindly, respect those around you when you communicate.
- Bounce back after failures. Failure is a way of life, it can happen anytime we take a risk or make a decision, but always keep trying. If you feel defeated and ashamed that can stop you from reaching your full potential which will show others to quit. Show others
how to bounce back! - Take care of yourself. Self-care is so important, not just for you but for your team. Your physical, mental, and emotional health matter when it comes to leadership.
“Lead by example, show why you are the leader.” – Brian Holt
Be accountable for your own mistakes
As a leader, taking accountability cultivates a sense of trust and respect from others. If you make a mistake and fail to admit that mistake, others will see that as you thinking that being right is more important to you than being honest with your team. Your team’s talents and energies are put towards supporting their leader rather than protecting their position in the organization, while creating a culture in which employees can feel safe to take important risks and own their mistakes too. Taking responsibility demonstrates that leaders value integrity. Leadership actions are learning from your mistakes, working with your team to problem solve, helping others to avoid the same mistake and moving forward.
Acknowledge and appreciate others
- Give credit where it’s due, do not take credit for others’ work.
- Be generous, recognize people and make sure they are valued.
- Everyone will work harder when they see others are being recognized because they will want to be that person getting recognition.
- False acknowledgement will not develop confidence nor lead to improved performance.
- The more specific a leader will be when acknowledging someone, the better the impact will be.
- Validating others helps to shape cultures within organizations.
“Never claim to be the best, learn from the newest person in the room.” – Brian Holt
Our goal here at Balanced Action Marketing Firm is to mold every new member who joins us into a leader so they can be as successful as they want to be and become the best leader they can be with the tools we have given them. We as a team foster an entrepreneurial spirit to lead by example, be accountable for our own mistakes, as well as acknowledge and appreciate others.

Your Potential to Succeed Is Infinite
“When Building anything in life from the homes we live in to the relationships we have, it is imperative to have a solid foundation to withstand any trials so that we will be able to grow stronger.” -Tina Harbert, Business Partner, Eagles Point Marketing, Inc.
So many people in life want to know the secret of how to become more successful. How can we do better? Well, here are a few tips I have to set that foundation to success!
Let Go
What’s the thing that holds you back the most? Fear! You need to let go of that fear. There is going to be fear in everything that we do, it’s the nature of life. Life is always either moving forward, growing or dying. So, we have the choice to either push forward and grow or let that fear take us over and die. Failure is inevitable and necessary so that we can learn from it and do better! Face your fears and you can do anything.
Never Stop Learning
There is always something new to learn in life, no matter how small or little you might think it is. If we fail to learn, we fail to grow. There are so many different opportunities in life to learn something so take those opportunities and flourish! To be a good student is to be a great leader which takes me to my next tip!
“The best student needs the best teacher, find that first.” – Brian Holt, CEO, Balanced Action Marketing Firm, Inc.
Be A Great Leader
Before we can become great leaders, we need to be able to be a great student or “sponge” and soak up all the knowledge and tools given to us by others so that WE can use it. Having good leadership skills is going to be a huge foundation to success. Not only do we want to lead by teaching but we want to lead by example, making it clear what our values are and that we live by them. Our values and behavior will be watched as a leader so we need to make sure that there aren’t any inconsistencies that will ruin our effectiveness. Personal complicity and double standards are the nails in the coffin of our ability to lead. A good leader will lead quietly and subtly, from the rear, without fuss, without fanfare. In the words of the Tao Te Ching,
‘A good soldier does not inspire fear;
A good fighter does not display aggression;
A good conqueror does not engage in battle;
A good leader does not exercise authority.
This is the value of unimportance;
This is how to win the cooperation of others;
This is how to build the same harmony that is in nature.’
Be Your Power
Take responsibility, you have the power to choose your experience so it’s up to you to take charge. What you do is going to affect your success, take accountability for your actions, your mindset, your behavior and do better.
“The key to finding success is finding your passion in that task you are embracing and then attacking it with an unwavering vigor!!” Kevin Braden, Business Partner, Next Generation Marketing, Inc.
Now that Balanced Action Marketing Firm has a second location in McKinney, TX that means we are close to some of our clients!

Brian was able to stop by one of our top clients and game-plan for the 2022 year ahead to lock in our joint success! Some exciting news about the newer products we will be working with that are not even on the market yet as well. This is the best part of our business and how we are able to work closely with our clients and partners.
Testing out the new product is a tough part of the job but someone has to do it! One of the great parts of our success is finding the right product for the member and making sure it will be great for them over the years, so we have to know the products fully.
When we look at the massage chair selection there is a huge selection. Our client is standing above the rest based on performance, innovation and customer satisfaction. One of the new chairs will be using a temple airbag system to help reduce tension and headaches along with a full 4D experience.

Strategies to Build Momentum in Life and Find Success
Learning how to build momentum is one of the first steps to finding success in life.
By building momentum, you are creating a world in which you are more productive, more effective, and more efficient. Momentum helps you get over that block of not being able to start something and then pushes you through to the end. Momentum helps build positive thinking and energy to help you progress towards your ultimate goals.
I have been learning that there are three key strategies for learning how to get momentum and push forward.
“ The simplest way to be successful for me in 2022 with Scott Gass’ teachings. The 3 pillars: Strategy, Active and Mindset!” – Brian Holt, CEO of Balanced Action Marketing Firm
Just Do It
Whatever it is that you want to do, whether it is starting that business that you have been putting off or going to the gym, the best way to build momentum is to simply take action through one small step.
By taking action, you start to focus your time and energy on the things that matter most. It may feel uneasy at first, but the more time and energy you put into doing it, the more comfortable you will start to become with it.
Ultimately, each small step gets you closer to achieving your goal, so get out there, just do it.
‘’It is easier to build and keep momentum, rather than stopping and having to start again.’’ – Miriam Carlinbryan, Hiring Manager
Plan It
Maybe you can’t do it right now, but what you can do is schedule some time to do that thing that you have been putting off. Better yet, make it a routine in order to create momentum in life.
Whatever it is, schedule it now, and stick to it. If you have trouble sticking to your schedule and not having the discipline to take action, think of your goals.
In order to really build momentum, you need to take action every single day. Find a time that works for you, even if it’s 15-30 minutes. Before you know it, after one week you would have been productive! It all adds up, and making it a routine will help make it a habit and it’ll become part of your life.
Learn About It
When you aren’t quite prepared to take action, you can start building momentum by learning about what it is that you should be doing.
Once you have the motivation to learn, you can begin to find resources on the actions you are preparing to take. Whatever it is, you can learn something about the task which will help you build momentum.
Learning about the activity that you want to pursue creates a pathway that helps you build the confidence and knowledge to be able to do what it is that you want to do.
Bottom line is, If you want to achieve more in life and be more successful , these strategies can help.
Remember, once you start down a path with a single step, you have already started to build that momentum that you’ll need to move forward and reach your goals.
